Ready To Rock (weekly playlists)

Four changes come with the latest update to my  Spotify Weekly Top 40, marked also by the largest group of songs that belong there but are missing from Spotify in quite a while.  I figure it this way: if bands don’t want the exposure that’s entirely their call, we just move on to the next song because there really isn’t a shortage of material these days.

That line item, just incidentally, has been around since the very beginning of these playlists and was designed to help me figure out during my earliest Spotify use just how much was in/out of the service.  It’s really still there mostly out of habit now, having clearly established that the enormous majority of anything I’m interested in hearing is indeed available there.

Missing songs this week:
Stronger –Through Fire, Breathing Lightning – Anthrax, Everybody’s … In A UFO – Rob Zombie

New to the Spotify list this week
In Our Dreams- Black Stone Cherry, Falling Apart – Spoken, Defying Gravity – The Veer Union, Tell Me It’s Alright – Blameshift

Dropping off the Spotify list this week:
Say It Again – XXI, Bad Blood – ForeverAtLast, Inside Yourself – Godsmack, Sympathy For The Devil – Motorhead

For the larger (nearly 200 songs) YouTube version there’s over a half dozen new songs including the newcomer David Brazil, fun stuff from Crazy Lixx, new band Vanilla Women (featuring members of Shinedown/Puddle of Mudd/Fuel) and more. You can find it at this link
